A wonderful few days spent in Singapore, the multicultural island made up of three main races - Chinese, Malays and Indians. Singapore is among the 20 smallest countries in the world, with a total land area of only 682.7 square kilometres. It is a popular place for travellers to Australia and New Zealand to make a stop-over.

We enjoyed our stay in the Swiss Hotel. We visited many attractions, including the famous Singapore Flyer, which at the time was the largest ferris wheel in the world.

We enjoyed the Chinese restaurants in the Chinese Quarter and would recommend them. Restaurants on the Quays, although good, lack atmosphere and are expensive.
